Dear Prospective Tenderer,
Recom Corp International (RCI) hereby invites sealed tenders from qualified, registered and experienced
 construction contractors, architectural and civil engineering firms, and joint ventures of such firms
(hereafter "Tenderers") for the rehabilitation and construction of an integrated community water supply,
sanitation and security-lighting scheme in the Lower Shabelle Region of Southwest State, Somalia.

The scheme comprises the rehabilitation of a shallow well; installation of a solar-powered pumping system;
construction of a 10 m³ elevated reinforced-concrete water tank; construction of nine (9) accessible water
kiosks; approximately 1,000 metres of PVC distribution pipeline; construction of a disability-friendly
communal latrine; and installation of a solar security street light. The full quantities and descriptions are set
out in the Bills of Quantities in Part 7.

RCI is looking for a Tenderer that combines technical competence in civil, structural, architectural, water
and solar engineering with proven capacity to deliver quality works safely and on time in the Somali
operating context, including the ability to mobilise people, materials and equipment in Lower Shabelle.

Tender documents are provided free of charge. Tenderers must read this document in full, including the
Instructions to Tenderers (Part 2), the Tender Data Sheet (Part 3) and the Qualification and Evaluation
Criteria (Part 4), before preparing a tender.

How to apply

Tenders must be received by RCI no later than 12:00 noon EAT
on Sunday, 25 October 2026. Late tenders will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
RCI is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender and reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, to
annul the process and reject all tenders at any time before contract award, without incurring any liability to
Tenderers.
